Ya'll. This is a long episode. Take this with you on a long walk as you soak up the final rays of summer. I share the 23 books I read over the month. We had mostly wins, and a few no thank you(s).

We jump into spooky season with this witchy book! This is book two in the series. We talk about the book: what we liked, what we didn't, what surprised us, romance and witchy books in general.

It was so fun to finally meet Devon! Sephie's mentioned her enough that I feel like she is a secret part of the podcast. 😀

We debunk the story that reading romance is the same as watching porn, and that they have the same intention. AND we look at using romance novels to help set the scene for self love. We also talk nuts and bolts about what it means to "spend time with yourself" because you don't know what you don't know.

I decided to do a reintroduction episode! If you're new to the podcast, maybe I hooked you with the forearms, you might not know why I made it in the first place.

I think these month by month episodes are the correct amount of forearms. We have a few books that RAVE about forearms. Enjoy these forearm loving stories.

If you want a well rounded conversation about romance books and life, you've found it! We take a finding road from Hailey's introduction to romance, to how she's evolved as a reader, to where she wants romance to go. We laugh and we laugh some more.

I read 21 books. Out of those, there's only one book I didn't enjoy. I like that percentage. I did my best to keep Sephie blind for these books, so you get her reaction to my reaction.
